A reminder to everyone: Christmas is a time for giving, but be sure to know who you give your money to.
Keeping the tag because I feel the same way.
Also my dad had some personal experience with their special brand of fuckery a long, long time ago and drilled it into my head from a pretty young age that I could do something more worthwhile with my loose change.
Volunteer instead or donate to a local charity where you can see where your money is going and what sorts of people are using it.
(United Way sucks too, but that’s another can of worms for me to open at a later date).
Fuck. That. Never donating there again.
