Any time I hear Christians complain about outspoken atheists.

Sorry folks. Free will just does not give god an excuse.

prodable asked: Hello. Just thought I'd say I'd classify myself as a Christian but I agree with the majority of points you make and to say not all people who follow a religion are complete idiots.I'm not trying to convince you of anything but just saying I really enjoy your blog :)
Hi, thanks for your message. I agree strongly with you, religiosity is not inextricably linked to lack of intelligence.
That said, would you agree that religious faith is consistently strongest amongst those who have the least - including access to education - and weakest amongst those who have undergone extensive tertiary education?
A recent study highlighted the link between critical thinking -a skill associated with higher learning, and a lack of belief.

Religionist and atheist, both of your theories are simply theories. Stop fighting.
Fyi, a theory is something that is backed up with tons of evidence and fact and that has a conclusion that many have come to and reviewed. Neither the atheistic nor the theistic views are theories; they are hypotheses. Atheism is the null hypothesis, stating that there is/are no god(s), and theism is the alternative hypothesis, stating that there is/are god(s).
A coherent response to a common stonewall
“Let’s think about this rationally.
Fire, brimstone, and eternal agony - that’s what’s meant to be in Hell.
God runs the entire universe, except one place, which is run by the Devil.
The Devil is his biggest enemy, and they don’t get along.
If you act bad, you go to hell.
You’ve lied, you’ve stolen, you’ve been a prick your entire life…
Why would the Devil punish you? You’re one of his boys, he’s going to fuckin’ dig you!”

Anonymous asked: Would you say you're anti-religion and anti-god? I've tried to understand the atheist (and other beliefs) reason for trying prove their own beliefs to others by trying to disprove other beliefs. I think if one believes a certain way, they should be proud and live their life accordingly; only addressing their belief or disbelief for discussion when it comes up in conversation. Do you agree or disagree? Why or why not? Thanks for your time. I appreciate it.
I’ve no problem with the spiritual beliefs of other fuckers
While those beliefs don’t impact on the happiness of others
But if you build your church on claims of fucking moral authority
And with threats of hell impose it on others in society
Then you, you motherfuckers, can expect some fucking wrath
When it turns out you’ve been fucking us in our motherfucking asses
Anonymous asked: do you hate religious people?
Not at all. I have plenty of religious friends and relatives, none of whom I hate.
I do hate religious ideas.
Criticism of those ideas is not criticism of the people who hold them. My criticism of religion is criticism of the concepts, validity, and/or practices of religion, including associated political and social implications.
Some people will disagree and say that constitutes a personal attack. Like Hitch said - ‘that which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.’
